What to expect
You've purchased beautiful new hardwood, what happens next? Knowing what to expect before & after the job is done will help to ensure a problem-free installation.
Before hardwood installation
Your salesperson will measure your entire project and accurately determine the appropriate amount of materials needed to successfully complete your job.
The installation team will ensure the safety of all in your home and that all electrical systems, water taps, and gas appliances are disconnected before the project starts.
Prepare an area for the contractors to work in and close off other rooms to protect them from dust and other materials.
After hardwood installation
The approximate timeframe for your installation will depend on the size of your room and the type of hardwood you’ve chosen. Please note that it is important to maintain proper humidity in your home, before, during, and after hardwood floor installation. The best way to keep your new hardwood looking great is to keep it well-maintained with a proper cleaning routine.
